Comments: We get a good look at Runaway Jack and his monster with a gun. The monster is illustrated to frighten you.
Skip twelve years ahead and Jack is trying to make it into Paradiso a city.
This story takes place in the future after some disaster called the Midnight. The world is in ruins and people are just surviving. The city Paradiso is supposed to be better.
Some things seem off like the top half of a building floating by itself or a three-armed man. Machinery is important here.
The story and characters need to be explained more. Why are people doing what they are doing? Why do people want to get into the city? Why is Jack going to the city? Overall the art needs work, it needs to be more defined.
Jack is presented as a decent guy. He is someone you could identify with.
