Comments: The art is incredible, the dinosaurs come to life as you see them in these pages. The colors are brilliant. In this place, a tribe of women lives and survives.
The women are all fully naked, and all is shown, so this is a mature title.
One Path is part of this tribe, and the story does let you know these women lead a hard life with just enough to survive.
The tribe goes on a hunt. This hunt is a blood bath, and some of the hunters do not survive it. They take down a big predator. It involves so many attacks from the tribe on the dinosaurs. All here are savage hunters.
The tribe led by One Path changes the status quo. She has upped there place on the food chain. The Albino, though, has awoken. What will happen now? As the Albino T-Rex asserts its dominance over another of its kind, it is a scene of savage beauty.
The return of the Albino resets everything the tribe worked on. All they achieved and the lives lost mean nothing. The Albino rules over them.
When you see how the children are born, you know this is a strange place, unlike any you have seen before.
One Path must fight to save her child. She flees with him and must fight both her tribe and dinosaurs to protect him. Her fight continues and will continue in Vol. 2.
This is a beautifully savage book filled with lavishly illustrated prehistoric scenes, and the violence is off the scale. The characters and story will hold you riveted to the page. The savage intensity will grab you and keep you turning each page.
