Comments: “Hell Horse.” A young boy is upset at the loss of his horse. He has a right to be. This loss leads to so much more. His loss leads to the start of the Apocalypse. The story needed to be more focused. The nightmarish horses and people add a frightening touch to this story.
“Shitcan” This story makes no sense at all. A man walks into a tunnel to paint it, and the why and what of what happens has no reason to it. The atmospheric setting does deliver a feeling of dread.
“The Void that Lived in the Man. or” A man is tormented by a cat. This story has no meaning to it. There is no story or punchline. Why did the things in it happen?
“I Can’t Take You Anywhere” Three panels that do make sense and deliver a quick thrill. The art fits each panel’s story great.
“Gas Station Snacks” Now this story delivers, it has a nice twist to i,t and art that fits perfectly with the terrifying story that slowly unfolds here. This story makes this book worth reading. The slow build-up to what happens will leave you stunned.
