Comments: Our explorers Cornelius, Zira, and Dr. Zaius and some Gorillas are on an Island. As they explore they find it has dangers. Many dangers that just increase the farther into the Island they go.
They find a structure which leads to more danger as they find themselves under attack and the danger is revealed as something they did not think possible.
On this Island, the Apes find a society that not unlike their own in some ways and in others totally different.
The art is well done and the story moves alone just a little too slowly.
Where is the story going next is a question? What happens when Kong meets the Dr. Apes?
