Comments: The art is simply done. The use of black shading covers up lots of the detail. The battle ship illustrated fairly well.
This comic is about war and one man who gets stranded on an Island. This Island is a weird place. This man as the story goes on we see is not quite sane. He does carry out part of his job of being a sailor in World War II.
The insanity of war and the effects it can have on sailors is well shown here. It is sad that people have to be put in a situation where they have to fight in a war.
The whole comic though needed to explain itself better. The situation he finds himself in is a hard one. It would put anyone in extreme stress.
The message war is Hell is one we know. Few people though can fully understand it unless they lived it as this man did.
