REVIEW: Invictus: Outrage #3

Invictus: Outrage #3 is the third issue of the ongoing series from G-Man Comics, written by Jim Burrows and illustrated by Gilbert Monsanto. The issue continues the adventures of Willa Yancey.

In this issue, Outrage is hunted by the FBI for the murder of Murder Hornet. With a name like Murder Hornet, you would think he would be the one doing the killing. As a result, Outrage now finds herself with a fight on her hands as she tries to clear her name.

The story is suspenseful and well-paced, and Burrows does a great job of keeping the reader guessing. Monsanto’s artwork as always is also exceptional, creating both the look and feel of the best of the Bronze Age comic books.

Overall, Invictus: Outrage #3 is a great example of the high-quality comics that G-Man Comics is putting out. If you are a fan of superhero comics with classic characters, then you should definitely check this one out.

Here are some of the things I liked about the book:

  • A suspenseful and well-paced story
  • Great characterization of Willa Yancey
  • Excellent artwork from Gilbert Monsanto

Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
