REVIEW: Taranis The Thunderlord #3

Taranis The Thunderlord #3 is the penultimate chapter of “The Awakening,” a storyline that continues to introduce and develop the character of Taranis, a powerful god from Celtic mythology who has been awakened in the modern world.

In this issue, Taranis finally confronts the source of the chaos that has been plaguing him since his return: the Dark Elf sorceress named Valthana Shadowmoon. However, in order to get to her, he still has to get through Simon N. Kirby: The Agent first.

The story is packed with action and adventure, and writer Eric N. Bennett does an excellent job of capturing the power and majesty of Taranis. Artist Luis Rivera’s artwork is also top-notch, and he brings Taranis to life in a way that is both awe-inspiring and terrifying.

Overall, Taranis The Thunderlord #3 is a must-read for any fan of fantasy comics. It is a thrilling and action-packed issue that sets the stage for an epic conclusion to “The Awakening.”

Here are some of the things I liked about the book:

  • Exciting and action-packed story
  • Great characterization of Taranis
  • Stunning artwork from Luis Rivera

Overall Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
