The Rift wants you to feel that reverb! Riftbound: Radiance spotlights musician champions, new mechanics, an all-new Ultimate Rare card, and the first neutral domain Champion Unit. The set features 180 new cards, including 60 Showcase cards, stunning full-art treatments, and more Overnumbered cards. Plus a new product line to add to your setlist, such as the Seraphine vs. Evelyn Showdown deck and beautifully illustrated playmats.
Releasing on October 23, Riftbound: Radiance rolls out the challenge of finding the rarest Ultimate Rare card yet. Debuting as the first Showcase Battlefield to be an Ultimate Rare, the Packed Amphitheater appears in roughly 0.025% of booster packs. That’s even more exclusive than the Baron from Unleashed.
The set’s new keywords strongly encourage players to get creative with their big plays. Equipment effects join the battlefield with Orianna’s Legend effect and Ziggs’ explosive bomb tokens:
- Disarm: “When I attack, give an enemy unit here -1 Might this turn.”
Multiple instances stack, and Kai’Sa, Rebel pairs Disarm with giving your spells Reaction during a showdown. - Show Off: “As you play this, you may reveal such a card from your hand or pick a friendly one.”
- Deploy: “Play this (Gear) only to a battlefield. When an opponent holds here, kill this.”
Ziggs, Hexplosive Expert, deploys Bomb tokens that, when killed, damage enemy units and set off every other Bomb in a chain reaction.
This set features new Champion Legends straight from the League of Legends Champion Selection. Champion Legends feature Alternate Art and Overnumbered treatments, plus a signature spell or gear. So far, Riven takes the top spot, considered the set’s best and most popular Champion Legend.
Riftbound: Radiance amps up the energy with alternative, full-art runes (Order, Fury, Chaos, Mind, Body, and Calm). Matching the music theme, these cards feature illustrations of sheet music, booming amps, and instruments, and they’re perfect for any K/DA- or HEARTSTEEL-inspired deck.
