Win the games. Win Your freedom.

The dinomite mash-up of the summer, The Jurassic Games stops onto VOD this June from Uncork’d Entertainment!

Starring Ryan Merriman (Final Destination 3) and Perrey Reeves (”Entourage”), the film imagines a world set in the near future wherein ten Death Row convicts are chosen to compete in The Jurassic Games, the ultimate virtual reality game show that pits its players against dinosaurs and each other. However, there is a catch… If you die in the virtual game, you also die in reality; and for Anthony Tucker (Adam Hampton), survival is his one chance to be reunited with his children after having been wrongfully imprisoned for the murder of his wife. As the devious The Host continues adding improbable challenges, the characters will find the odds stacked against them as only one victor can emerge as winner and reclaim their freedom.

The Jurassic Games is the third film from Emmy Award-winning director Ryan Bellgardt (Gremlin, Army of Frankensteins).

The Jurassic Games will be available on Digital 6/12 and DVD 7/3.

Comments: The show starts out with criminals in a virtual reality world being hunted by virtual reality dinosaurs. Here the one who survives goes free. So if you die in the game you die in real life.
The dinosaurs do look realistic, so the special effects are well done.
Tucker and Joy two of the criminals join up briefly. She is gorgeous. He is our hero of the show. Joy is also ruthless.
The suspense is built up right away. You will find yourself on the side of the criminals. The criminals will kill each other as well to be the last one.
The Jurassic Games are done as a reality game show and there are even action figures of the contestants. The criminals have to go through stages in the game. Each stage is more dangerous. The virtual world does come across as being real and in a sense it is.
There is excitement with raptors chasing the humans. There is suspense and drama and we get a look at some of the criminals family and friends outside of the game. A deadly serious game. Within the game friends and foes are made but in the end only one can survive.
The sabretooth tiger looks amazing. It is shown as a killer. Seeing the T-Rex’s battling is a fierce fight between these extinct monsters.
Tucker is played with lots of emotion and Joy as one crazy woman.
The movie’s ending may have some surprises for some but ends basically how you might expect.
This is a fun movie with some great creature effects and action to thrill you the viewer.
