Comments: Ivette and a group of experts are looking into birds attacking cats. In Northern Peru, Ivette the cat expert, and the bird experts are there to find out what is happening.
The art is cartoony in style. It is what you might expect on a Saturday morning cartoon.
Ivette is the Jaguar and when she senses danger she springs into action. Some flying bird guy grabs her and finds himself in trouble. The Jaguar god Ai Apaec makes itself known. Who is this bird guy and why is he attacking Jaguar?
The actual battle scenes here are explosive excitement filled with hard-hitting action.
Ivette is just your ordinary woman who happens to have the powers of a Jaguar God.
The art does not bring out the seriousness of the situation. In the fight, we never learn what happened to the bird guy. Where does this leave Ivette? Where and what will she do next?
The origin recap is short and does not answer any questions.
Ivette is a wonderful character, the Jaguar though here is not used enough. The Jaguar is not introduced enough; part of that is her having a foe with no name. A good villain makes a good hero.
