Comments: Jack is still hard at work with his experiments. Jack is working to make a man invisible. He even starts practicing for what it will be like to be invisible; yes, he is sure he will succeed.
Jack takes a young man from the gutter and uses him. Jack thinks he has everything under control. He is pulling away from others, thou, and staying closed in as he works every day. He is putting his all into this. The people around him are ignoring him. His fiancée is finding it hard. His boss and future father-in-law want answers.
The young man he experimented on, he did treat as well as he could while still holding him against his will. The young man Tommy now does not like what has been done. The subtle horror of what is transpiring is slowly building here, and you get glimpses of what is likely to happen.
The presentation does come across like a movie unfolding. You can feel the suspense building to where Jack might give himself his wishes, or maybe things change. The ending to this issue is a cliffhanger. What is next? With science gone past the norms, one never knows what might happen.
