The Science Ninja Team in the God Phoenix prepares to attack and is attacked themselves. Lord Katse is getting sneaky. His real attack is launched, and these Mechas are deadly looking. A swarm of killing machines is attacking the Gatchaman bases.
The focus on the trainees and their turning to the side of evil is setting up for a future battle of them vs the Science Ninja Team. The building of suspense and tension is well done. Mara, as theirleaderr is focused on her and her team being ready. These are the new evil versions of the Gatchaman.
