Comments: We open on a bleak desolate landscape. The art immediately gives you an atmosphere of dread. You know something is really bad. As you see the man’s face you sense it he is wild and out of control. He could do anything.
A man finds his wife is cheating on him. He also finds the cheater. The man does go out of his way to hurt the cheating man. Not by hurting him physically though. The wife has no regrets about the way she acts. Is the husband done now? Tune in for the next issue to find out. The story does stay on this drama more than on the zombies. The drama is good but zombies are better.
Plus what is going on with the flesh-eating zombies? Where did they come from? Are there more?
The black and white art does fit the story and adds to it giving it that subdued frightening atmosphere. The art really does overall enhance the story.
You will be left wanting more.
