Comments: Speed Racer is in a race and doing well when bad luck strikes. He has help, though. All the faces of everyone drawn here are expressive. They show high-speed action in their expressions. These races are much more than just a race, as your life is on the line in them. For Speed Racer and Racer X, it is an all-out battle to survive against the C.A.T. team led by Black Jaguar.
The race cars are designed beautifully, showing they are built for speed. All the extras they carry just make them all the cooler.
Amidst the racing, there is even time for a little romance.
Dante Fern, the owner of the C.A.T. racing team, is shown to he upset at his team not doing as he wanted.
Watching these cars race will fill you with a sense of speed. They drive fast, and the excitement is there as well as the danger.
Speed Racer has made it to the Formula X World Championship Tournament.
There is an emotional moment as well that is heart-touching.
Racer X now has a mission to protect his family, and to that end, he will not stop.
Speed Rac, er, well, he just brings the excitement to this book full throttle.
