John Carpenter meets PREDATOR in writer-director Paton’s multi-genre mixer that combines the classic elements of sci-fi, horror, suspense and action, resulting in a cocktail of a visually-stunning and relentlessly thrilling indie surprise.

PANDORICA is set in a world that’s plunged into a new dark age where humanity devolves into a vicious, primal state. A trio of youths, Eiren, Ares and Thade, have been selected to take part in the leadership trials of The Varosha Tribe, with the winner claiming the tribe for themselves. They must battle dark and mysterious forces if one of them is to win, but not everyone is worthy of becoming a leader, and the trio soon learn that fighting each other may be the only path to victory.

Comments: After The Great Reset Earth has moved on. In this future the Varosha tribe is shown.
The tribe’s leader takes Eiren, Ares and Thade to a forest where one of them will emerge as the new leader. The music is exciting and builds up your expectations.
Thade is the slow one not so smart or skilled, Ares is the one with more of an evil side, and Eiren is the beautiful but tough girl who cares.
The atmosphere is well set. There is mystery as well. Now these people on trial are given a mission as well. It is a dangerous one as violence and death visit them.
The members of this mission fight against among each other while trying to work together. You will come to listen to each word they speak and watch to see what will happen next.
There are some horror elements and sci-fi slightly but it is mainly fantasy in a post apocalyptic world.
Eiren stands out as the one you will end up routing for. As the deaths mount you will be drawn in waiting to see how this will end.
There is only a small cast in this film. The settings are all outdoors so inexpensive. The clothing you can tell some of it was factory made. Overall though the settings and cast do fit in to the era they are in.
The movie is exciting and builds drama. You will not want to miss one second of it as it races to its final ending.
