Comments: The old-style art in blue, white, and black is gorgeous. For a crime story, it works perfectly. Later on, it switches to orange instead of blue. Here a young woman walking down the street is offered a lift.
John is a criminal and he is not a very nice one. He looks out for himself only. He does care about his sister Mary and her daughter Grace.
Harry is running a white slave trade and the Albanians are his suppliers. It is easy to see this is an uneasy appliance that could turn bad fast. We are getting a look at criminal organizations operating.
John and Mary’s husband do not get along at all.
Harry Woods the father of Ian Woods who is Grace’s boyfriend. Harry is one violent gangster.
John is here to help as we can see though he will have to deal with the people around him.
The best part about this comic is the art done in a style you rarely see. The art fits the era as well of the early 2000s. The characters are criminals and shady. When Harry and John meet all Hell is going to break loose.
The book does deliver danger in old-style gangster fashion.
