Comments: This is a dark noir type of comic.
No one seems to think it strange that an intelligent beaver is walking around and talking. He is presented as a dark gloomy beaver. Mr. Beaver has the respect of those who know him. He is a vigilante one with extraordinary skills.
Detective Kage is partnered with Special Agent Beaver.
Beaver in action is a cold-blooded killer. He uses his intelligence as well to figure out how best to take down the enemy. Of course, Beaver has an arch-nemesis. You can feel the tension between them. Beaver in action though is a killing machine he just walks into a situation and is ready for anything.
This first issue is a nice introduction one. The one thing it does not explain though is why he is a beaver.
Mr. Beaver will handle anything thrown at him.
