There is a whole world of Mary Sues called Mary Sue World. Cassie and Bennett, her ex–best friend, set off on an adventure to find the missing Jessica. Mary Sue World is filled with so many amazing things and beings. The weirdest thing of all is seeing a Mary Sue actually called Mary Sue. She is drawn so cute. The Star Trek references are dead on, and the drawings inspired by Star Trek look gorgeous in their detail.
Seeing Cassie and Bennett working together is lovely, as these two former friends, now enemies, are starting to grow closer again. They must work together to find Jessica. Then Cassie must find a way to make her imaginary Mary Sue forgive her. Are the Mary Sues more than just figments of the mind? Are they actual people?
