Comments: Sister Marian gets her marching orders from the church, and she is on a hunt for witches to kill. Sister Marian does find two witches, and this battle starts as expected, but then it stops unexpectedly. Then, more unexpectedly, Crusaders arrive and advance on the witches with machine guns and swords.
The way the men of the church treat Sister Marian and other women is outrageous. They are treated like second-class citizens.
This story appeared to be in the Middle Ages, yet in this issue, we find out it is in the present.
Sister Marian is a nun for the Holy Church, yet it appears as if she is much more. Rave,   the witch, Marian was looking for, finds her, and both want something from the other.
Marian’s powers may not come from where she thinks they do. Her attitude may need to change to fit the new information she is learning.
This issue does end on a cliffhanger
