Comments: “Devoured” A woman finds love, and she fears losing it. The man is devoted to her and truly loves her. The woman, though well she has her own way of making sure they stay together forever. This love story does not have a happy ending for one person. The black and white is good, showing her personality.
“Torture Chambe.r” This story is extremely obvious as to what is happening. No suspense and no feeling that the man is really in any danger. The art needed to be more subdued as to what was going on.
“I Can’t Take You Anywhere” A couple of weird one-panel cartoons here.
“When I’m Dead.” The story here makes no sense at all. The art has a pasty quality and does not help to make the characters stand out.
“The Life and Death of Lucas Dreamwalker, Part Three:” Lucas has these dreams where he stops crimes. This story does have an ending, but it does not make a lot of sense. The ending is certainly not what you would expect. This story needed to be clearer about what was going on.
