Dick Tracy, the main people killed and Tess Truehart are all introduced quickly yet well enough you know who they are. Tess is a spitfire woman and one you do not want to get in the way of. Tracy is a no-nonsense man who is a work alcoholic.
Tess and Dick do work together on this case. Both are dedicated to finding the one behind it all. It is great to see a tough detective and a tough investigator just meshing together so well.
The action is as tough as the characters. The hail of bullets will rivet you to these action-packed pages.
The villains are evil killers.
The art shows you the 1947 in wonderful period styling. Dick is drawn as one of the toughest detectives you will ever meet. Tess is a hotheaded beauty.
