Comments: The White Diamond is on the loose, and Megaman responds while Ultragirl waits in the wings. White Diamond is a major threat, and the only hero he truly wants to face is Ultiman, who happens to be unavailable. That leaves Megaman barely holding his own in a brutal, knock-down, drag-out battle. The ending brings Ultragirl into the fight, though not quite in the way you might expect. She proves she is far more than just a superpowered woman.
The artwork highlights the heroic qualities of the characters. The battle scenes are illustrated as hard-hitting and exciting, capturing the intensity of the fight.
Ultragirl and Megaman are also portrayed as two young heroes in love. Their relationship adds a touch of drama that brings some emotional tension to the story.
White Diamond is a powerful criminal, but he is not completely without heart. Despite his villainy, he has a soft spot for his daughter, which adds a small layer of depth to the character.
Overall, this issue is a thrill ride that reminds readers of an earlier age of comics, when stories weren’t quite so dark. Heroes are clearly heroic, villains are unmistakably villains, and the result is a fun, exciting adventure.
