The Overwatch League has announced their format for the 2020 postseason. The league was forced to change their schedule and format mid-season due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

All live homestands and events were cancelled and everything moved to a strictly online format. Divisions were also split into North American and Asia Pacific divisions. The league also hosted two tournaments, the May Melee and Summer Showdown, which were both well received by fans. A third tournament is coming up in August.

Playoffs begin in September leading to the Grand Finals pitting the top North American team against the top Asian Pacific team.
