MtG Released More FINAL FANTASY In A Holiday Release

Magic: The Gathering has special “Scene Boxes” for its Final Fantasy release, each containing six specific borderless, traditional foil cards that form one large, iconic scene when placed together, like Squall and Seifer’s duel (“Children of Fate”) or The Siege of Alexandria. These boxes allow players to collect and display these art pieces, which also serve as playable Magic cards, as well as extra art-only cards and boosters. Scene cards fit together to reveal an epic scene straight from the game. Additionally, scene cards are also playable Magic cards!

Released December 5th as part of the Final Fantasy Holiday Release, there are four different games to choose from. These include:

FINAL FANTASY (Garland at the Chaos Shrine)
In a world shrouded in darkness, reclaim the light of the Crystals! Rush to the Chaos Shrine to battle Garland, the kidnapper of Princess Sarah.

FINAL FANTASY VIII (Children of Fate)
Witness a clash of bitter rivals as Squall and Seifer’s duel on the training field heats up! Some scars may never fade…

FINAL FANTASY IX (The Siege of Alexandria)
Hurry to Garnet’s side as the mighty Bahamut lays waste to Alexandria! With the arrival of Alexander, the guardian of legend, a climactic duel between eidolons is about to unfold.
