Magic: The Gathering has delivered web-slinging action to the tabletop this fall with the highly anticipated Magic: The Gathering | Marvel’s Spider-Man set. Fans are in for a treat with a new collection of cards showcasing beloved characters, villains, and memorable moments from the Spider-Man universe. Booster
Play Boosters provide players with a thrill from the element of surprise! Each pack features 1-4 cards, with rarity levels starting from Rare or higher, and offers the possibility of discovering a Special Guest Mythic Rare adorned with new Borderless art. Additionally, every booster contains at least one sparkling Traditional Foil card of any rarity. These booster packs are perfect for collecting cards to construct your deck, enjoying games with friends, and trading.
Collector Booster
Collector Boosters bring together the best cards and stunning foil treatments all in one package! Every booster includes Rare and/or Mythic cards, Traditional Foils, a Borderless basic land, and additional surprises. These Collector Boosters are also where you could find the Cosmic Foil Infinity Stone.
Welcome Decks
Magic: The Gathering brought these ‘Welcome Decks’ out to play during San Diego Comic-Con, and we got to check them out during the private Hard Rock party! These Welcome Decks consisted of Ghost-Spider (Red), Spider-Man (White), Venom (Black), Miles Morales (Green), and Spider-Man 2099 (Blue). Great for beginners, these decks feature a diverse array of cards to help players become familiar with the game. The Magic website features excellent videos that guide you through the steps needed to learn the moves that would make even Spidey proud.
Spider-Man Bundle
A Bundle is a great way to kickstart a new set. This Bundle comes with the following:
- 1 shiny foil promo card featuring alternate art, exclusive to this Bundle.
- 9 Play Boosters, featuring at least 1 Traditional Foil card and the chance of having multiple Rares.
- 30 Land cards from the set (15 foil, 15 nonfoil), including 10 featuring stunning art that fills the entire card
- A special die to track your life total and a sturdy Spider-Man-themed box to store everything in
Some of Our Favorite Pulls
Tearing through a booster pack can give you a good boost of serotonin. As a Marvel fan, going through these cards was nothing short of incredible. With nostalgic comic book pages illustrated on borderless cards, I was ensnared by the story the card told before seeing just what the effects did. This new set really is a love letter to the legendary Spider-Man comic books. I deeply enjoyed the comic book cover and page cards, but I also cannot get over how detailed the Borderless Panel cards are. The dialogue boxes explain what the card effects do, and the classic comic font really immersed me in the Spider-Man universe. Collectors will love this set, and Magic did an outstanding job designing everything.
