Riftbound was released late 2025 and has already proven to be a huge success. Riftbound is a swift, action-paced trading card game that focuses on strategic play and dynamic movement. Players use their champions across various battlefields and their home base to score points. The game weaves together lore from the rich world of the Legends of Runeterra universe. Furthermore, it features iconic and beloved champions that players can incorporate into their decks.
In October, Riot Games opened its store for a limited-edition bundle featuring promo cards celebrating the host cities of Worlds 2025. The Riftbound Worlds Bundle 2025 commemorates the League of Legends World Championship, the premier esports tournament globally, while also celebrating the latest trading card game, Riftbound.
This exclusive bundle includes a raised, foiled playmat with “EARN YOUR LEGACY” across it, a matching deck box, a set of card sleeves, a Panda Teemo Promo card, and three oversized battlefield cards showcasing Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu from Worlds 2025. In the Riot Games merch store, players see the bundle labeled “Retired,” but they can still find it available on TCGPlayer.

Looking Ahead
Riftbound: Origins is flying off the shelves at launch, positioning the trading card game for a bright future. Following the strong demand for Riftbound events, Riot has declared that the Riftbound Regional Qualifier will take place in Las Vegas on February 27, 2026.
The eagerly awaited second set, Spiritforged, is set to release on 2/13. The new set brings a wave of new champions, mechanics, and equipment to the trading card game.
Riftbound is available at local retailers. Be sure to check out the Riftbound website for upcoming events!
