LVL Up Expo is a fantastic convention to play new games made by indie developers with passion, creativity, and diverse backgrounds. There is generally a large portion of the first floor sectioned off for indie games, with studios like Blumhouse Games and Devolver Digital among them. Attendees were able to demo a multitude of games of various genres, talk with the developers, and take home some souvenirs.
LVL UP EXPO is an annual three-day event that unites individuals from diverse backgrounds to celebrate creativity, passion, and competition. Launched in 2013, the first LVL UP EXPO took place in Las Vegas, where it now calls the Las Vegas Convention Center home. This exciting expo showcases competitive gaming, inspiring art, and community-focused activities over the course of three days (and nights).

While roaming through the Indie Game Developer corner at LVL UP EXPO, we were truly amazed by what we got to experience. The indie developers’ space was perfect for playing games and chatting with the developers. Additionally, here are some games you can check out and add to your Wishlist now!

For the farming simulator gamers out there, you want to Wishlist Grave Seasons now! In this spooky, pixel graphics game, a supernatural serial killer is in town. Players can farm, romance, and become a detective in the town of Ashenridge. Grave Seasons will be available on PC, Xbox, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. Personally, we are very eager to get our hands on this one!

Play as Mr. Mittens and Mr. Brown after an unfortunate circumstance, in which Mr. Mittens discovers his kittens are gone. With the help of his friend, the two take off on a side-scrolling adventure. Both cats are controlled using different buttons, have unique mechanics, and require different items to heal. In classic Nintendo Mario fashion, jump over the bad items like avocados and cucumbers. At LVL UP Expo, Greenwave Games showcased four games at their booth. The group, consisting of high schoolers, receives hands-on experience in game development from start to finish, cultivating essential skills for the gaming industry.

In this action-adventure, play as Demi and venture through the wondrous world of Somnus. Tasked by a mysterious voice, you must destroy the legendary Accursed Beasts to save the world. Use your attacks and abilities to slay enemies, solve puzzles, and uncover the truth behind ancient history.
