The Riftbound Regional Qualifier: Los Angeles swept through the city over the weekend, making it one memorable moment for Riot Games enthusiasts of all types! Held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from September 25 to September 37th, the sold-out event drew fans, collectors, cosplayers, and players ready to test their decks.
Riftbound competitors spent the entire weekend competing for $25,000 in Main Event prizes and exclusive rewards at the Prize Wall. Those looking for more casual play attended side events and shopped at vendors. Community events such as altering your favorite rune card, making pins, and meeting incredible cosplayers also took place throughout the weekend.

Insightful panels took place on the stage, including a peek at the new set, Radiance! The panel included Dave Guskin (Game Director), Jon Moormann (Radiance’s Lead Designer), Brice Cox (Creative Director), and Michelle Mauk (Radiance’s Art Director).
After attending the Riftbound Regional Qualifier: Las Vegas, I was excited to see how Riot Games would amp up their style in Los Angeles. Overall, the Riftbound Regional Qualifier in Los Angeles was nothing short of remarkable. Attendees seemed pleased by the variety of activities and energy throughout the weekend. For example, you could hear the excitement of pulling a rare card all over the room. The community was warm, welcoming, and lines were reasonable, which was a huge plus! Many attendees said they were happy with the additions made and the capacity for many of the side events. Whether fans were new to Riftbound or a veteran card player, there was something for everyone.
