Riot Games has unveiled a couple of new exciting things recently about their new trading card game (TCG), Riftbound. Riftbound is an action-packed trading card game that focuses on strategy and dynamic movements between various battlefields and the player’s home base. The game incorporates lore from the rich universe of Legends of Legends, featuring iconic champions that players can incorporate into their decks.
The first set, Riftbound: Origins, is set to launch October 31, 2025, in physical format. Images of the cards have already been revealed along with collectible rarities! This TCG is aimed to be different than what players partake in at trading card game stores, but will be equally as immersive and accessible.
Riot announced that the second set for the TCG will be called Riftbound: Spiritforged and will be released in China in December 2025 and English in February 2026. With the announcement’s image, we can see Lucian, Irelia, and Ezreal. Are these hints towards what some future cards may be?
