TX2 ENTERS THE GAME: Z2 AND ALT-ROCK PHENOMENON LAUNCH NEW COLLECTIBLE CARD GAME

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 23, 2026)— TX2, the boundary-pushing alternative artist who has built a fiercely dedicated global following through his explosive blend of emo, punk and modern alternative music, is expanding his universe beyond music in partnership with Z2. Based on TX2’sincredible live performances, where he’s been known to jump directly into crowds and trade collector cards with his fans, this card game is a natural evolution of TX2’s interactive fanbase and collector community.

TX2 had this to say about this new venture “Battle Cards is a joke game Cam and I made one day with a set of poker cards and a vision. Fans loved the game and years ago I promised one day we’d make it happen. It’s happening. I can’t believe this ridiculous vision we had years ago is coming to life, Z2 made this happen and hired incredibly talented artists that made this joke into actual art and an incredibly fun game.”

This 54-card set, with a ruleset created by TX2, features the unique art of Evgenia Verli, Darren Vogt, Ileana Gonzalez and Mauricio Herrera. This is truly a fast-paced, high-interaction card game where anything can happen. It blends the worlds of trading card games and party games where two players must face off in a battle of wits to persuade the judge that their fictional character would win in a fight. There are different set rules you can play by but the most important rule is be inventive, be creative but most importantly, be quick!

Darren Vogt, who not only supplied art for the cards but also illustrated the game’s packaging adds, “The heart of Battle Cards, and its art direction – is all about bringing back childhood play and imagination.
