Creating Compelling Comic Covers
Panelists were Michael Cho, Stephen Platt, Riley Rossmo, and Jeff Dekal. The group gave examples of successful covers, the first cover they did, favourite projects to work on, editors, their process for creating a cover, best piece of advice they got, what they say to an editor if they don’t know the character they’re being asked to draw, when they might push back on requested changes to a cover, and composition tips. The panel was moderated by John Kirk.
