THIS HOLIDAY SEASON, CARMILLA AND CHRISTMAS COME TOGETHER. A VERY CARMILLA CHRISTMAS CAROL — LAUNCHING NOVEMBER 18th ONLY ON KICKSTARTER

A sexy, sapphic twist on Dickens’ classic tale from the creators of Nightmare Theater and Carmilla Unbound.

LOS ANGELES, CA — 10/6/2025 — Christmas is coming… and Carmilla is coming for blood. This November, the sultry vampiress returns in A Very Carmilla Christmas Carol, a spicy, supernatural one-shot that re-vamps (pun intended) Dickens’ holiday staple with a wickedly erotic bite. Launching exclusively on Kickstarter, this 32-page special one-shot blends gothic horror and graphic thrills–all wrapped up with a seductive, satirical bow.

Written by Clay Adams (Red X-Mas, Blazing Blade of Frankenstein, Dreamquest) and D.E. Schrader (Baby Badass, Cannibals on Mars), and featuring sumptuous interiors by Erik Tamayo (Robyn Hood Mystere, Star Trek) with fiendishly festive colors by Alex Zief (Cult of Dracula, Monster Matador), this standalone issue pits Carmilla against the monstrous, miserly Elonezer Spooge in a ghost-infested showdown for the soul of Christmas.

Inspired by Carmilla, Sheridan Le Fanu’s erotic novella that predates Bram Stoker’s famous book by 26 years, the CARMILLA UNBOUND series is a blood-soaked love letter to those who think Dracula was a little dry and needed a bloody transfusion of graphic, sapphic sex and virtuous violence.

A Very Carmilla Christmas Carol delivers a twisted take on holiday redemption, with a hardcore heroine who turns silent night into deadly night. Featuring a killer lineup of variant covers by legendary Italian fumetti master Emanuele Taglietti and the talented likes of Flops, Suspirialand, and Mexifunk.

This year, Christmas comes three times in one night… no Dickens required. Back the campaign this November and finally unwrap the true meaning of “Bah, Humbug!”

Follow the launch on Kickstarter and join the sleigh ride into Carmilla’s craziest, sexiest, coolest, spookiest adventure yet.
