M.A.S.K. Streetwear Variant Covers by Fadime Yildirim Bring the Heat for Skybound, Image Comics & Hasbro
LOS ANGELES 09/24/2026— Today Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with Hasbro, a leading games, IP and toy company, revealed a stunning set of streetwear variant covers by artist Fadime Yildirim (G.I. Joe, Vampirella) starting with M.A.S.K. #7 and continuing through M.A.S.K. #12.
Following her gorgeous G.I. Joe streetwear variant series, Fadime Yildirim is back with expertly styled variant covers each featuring a member of the M.A.S.K. network with unique, customized keychains and will be available as 1:25 incentive variants across six can’t-miss issues that begin this December.
“Fadime is a really talented creator, and herG.I. Joe covers were so gorgeous I wanted to keep working with her,” notes Executive Editor Ben Abernathy. “She is once more bringing her fashion forward vision to the characters of M.A.S.K. and V.E.N.O.M. with thrilling results!”
M.A.S.K. #7 kicks off a new action-packed story arc for the hit Energon Universe series from writer Dan Watters (Nightwing, Shredder), artist Pye Parr (Petrol Head) colorist Pierluigi Casolino (DC vs. Vampires), and letterer Rus Wooton (Transformers), landing in comic book shops on December 2, 2026.

In addition to the 1:25 incentive variant cover by Fadime Yildirim, M.A.S.K. #7 features a main cover by series artist Pye Parr, two open to order variants by Nick Bradshaw & Jim Charalampidis and Derek Charm, a 1:50incentive manga variant by Satoshi Shiki, a 1:100 foil incentive variant by Arist Deyn, a blank sketch cover, and a T-BOB die cut mask cover by Pye Parr, Luke Preese & Andres Juarez.
M.A.S.K. is the latest addition to the historic collaboration between Skybound and Hasbro, part of the shared Energon Universe comic line that features ongoing series Void Rivals by writer Robert Kirkman, artist Conor Hughes (White Ash), and colorist Patricio Delpeche (Catwoman), the two-time Eisner Award winning Transformers by writer Robert Kirkman, artist Jason Howard (The Astounding Wolf-Man), and colorist Mike Spicer (Stillwater, Murder Falcon), and G.I. Joe by writer Joshua Williamson (Superman, Dark Ride), artist Andrea Milana (X-Men ’97), and colorist Lee Loughridge (Thor, Star Wars).
