Wednesday, April 9, 2025—Chicago, IL—For over two decades, KINGDOM COME©DC, the landmark DC comic book series by Mark Waid and Alex Ross has captivated the minds of superhero fans. Now, THE LEGEND OF KINGDOM COME, a documentary film about the making of the legendary comics series, sets 2025 premiere dates.
THE LEGEND OF KINGDOM COME will make its North American Premiere at the historic Music Box Theatre in Chicago on Saturday, May 10, 2025, followed by the International Premiere at The Lake Como Comic Art Festival in Italy on Saturday, May 17, 2025. The film is also expected to be screened at conventions and festivals throughout the year.
“Sal and I had a great time making this film and we are thrilled to celebrate the release and share our work with live audiences throughout the year,” said director Remsy Atassi.
To celebrate the occasion, the Chicago event will feature special appearances and director Remsy Atassi and producer Sal Abbinanti will be present to introduce the film which will be followed by a Q&A. THE LEGEND OF KINGDOM COME Blu-Ray and special items will be available for purchase, while supplies last.
