Only a little more than three days to go on fundraising for Sparkplug Volume 1, a 104-page collection of the earliest solo adventures of our mistress of all things electrical, taken from the pages of various issues of Flare and Champions. These are classic adventures that took place when she was still wearing her original yellow and orange costume, written by Dennis Mallonee, Wilson Hill, Steve Perrin, and Lou Mougin, with wonderful artwork by Mark Propst, Henry Martinez, Terry Pallot, Howard Bender, Jim Valentino, and Scott Clark.
Sparkplug Volume 2 is a 164-page collection of her adventures, taken from the pages of various issues of Flare Annual, Champions, and her very own Sparkplug mini-series, written by Dennis Mallonee, Steve Perrin, Wilson Hill, and Lou Mougin, with some extraordinary artwork by Mark Beachum, Sean Harrington, Terry Pallot, J. Adam Walters, James Webb, Rob Jones, Scott Clark, and Henry Martinez.
To be clear, these collections have previously been available, but only in 6.625″ x 10.25″ softcover editions. Now, in conjunction with Critical Blast publishing, we’re getting ready to release them in new, deluxe, 8.5″ x 11″ tabletop hardbound editions. And we’re looking to you to help us fund that.
