San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) took place last weekend from Wednesday, July 23, to Sunday, July 27. The convention is known for being the convention of all conventions, occurring annually with a focus on multiple genres and art forms. With a focus on celebrating and showcasing comics in all the latest pop culture, including movies, television, gaming, sci-fi and fantasy literature, and much more. Throughout the weekend, con-goers can attend panels, an incredible exhibit hall, autograph sessions, exclusive previews, and cosplay gatherings.
Cosplay trends thrive across social media platforms. This creative hobby is a fun way to show love for favorite characters across different media, such as anime, movies, TV shows, comics, video games, and other pop culture sources. Cosplayers create amazing costumes that allow them to embody their favorite characters and express their creativity.
San Diego Comic-Con will return in 2026, but while fans wait, they can attend WonderCon, which is a more accessible version of SDCC. WonderCon will take place March 27-29, 2026. For more information on tickets to both events, be sure to sign up on the official website!
