Rob Hanes Adventures Blasts Into Space With Issue 26

Cover to RHA 26This summer, Rob Hanes Adventures takes a giant leap with issue 26 when the long-running indie-adventure comic book series blasts into space!

“Until now, taking Rob into outer space always felt like a stretch,” said series artist-writer-creator and Inkpot Award recipient Randy Reynaldo. “But with private space companies now regularly making launches into space, often with commercial passengers and space tourists, the concept is now within the realm of believability!”

True to its classic high adventure roots, real world settings and headlines have always been an important part of the series. So in addition to the billionaire space race, recent high profile scandals in the crypto market also play a big role in the upcoming issue.

In the story, entitled “A Space Oddity,” private investigator and Justice International Rob Hanes is sent via a shuttle launch to a space station and resort still under construction as part of the security team, but is also charged with investigating the suspicious behavior of a crypto billionaire who is also aboard and a major investor in the project.

Reynaldo noted that taking an adventure strip character into space has a storied tradition in comics, from Hergé’s Tintin, Will Eisner’s Spirit, and Chester Gould’s Dick Tracy!

Rob Hanes Adventures #26 promises to be yet another exciting and offbeat installment for the long-running action-adventure series and will be available soon!
