The newest member of Oni’s all-star Archie Comics braintrust, Winters is the writer of multiple New York Times bestselling novels, including the acclaimed Last Policeman trilogy (2012-14), Underground Airlines(2016), and Big Time (2024), among many others. In 2019, Winters joined the writing staff of FX’s acclaimed Marvel television series Legion and subsequently created and showran CBS’ #1 hit television series Tracker. In 2024, Winters made his comic book debut on Oni’s revitalized line of EC Comics as a central writer for CRUEL UNIVERSE, which debuted to blockbuster sales and subsequently earned an Eisner Award nomination. Winters’ first full-length comics project, BENJAMIN (with artist Leomacs) was subsequently published to widespread acclaim in 2025. In addition to his work on the ARCHIE ongoing series, Winters is also currently working on his next creator-owned comics project for Oni Press, which will be published in 2027.
