Riftbound: Spiritforged Cards You Want For Your Deck

Since its release nearly a week ago, Riftbound’s second set, Spiritforged, is making its mark in the trading card game (TCG) world. Riftbound has been a hit success upon its debut in October 2025. Players can now prepare for the upcoming Regional Qualifiers taking place in Las Vegas from February 27 to March 1, and in Lille from April 17 to 19.

Spiritforged unleashes new mechanics, champions, equipment, and overnumbered cards to the ever-growing TCG. New champions feature some fan-favorites such as Draven, Irelia, Lucian, Sivir, Azir, Ezreal, Jax, Fiora, and many more. The popular skin line, Spirit Blossom, also appears in alternate art editions. Rune cards get a sweet upgrade with full art, foil editions, which players will want to snag up to personalize their decks.

As you dive into packs and explore the fresh mechanics like Gold, Repeat, and the exciting new equipment, consider keeping these cards in your collection.

Champions & Glorious Abilities

Draven: Notoriously known for his brutality and hack and slash, Draven is a popular pick in Spiritforged. His stats mingle with the new mechanic Gold. With various illustrations, players can spice up their decks to showcase this dominant and aggressive Champion. Additionally, Draven – Glorious Executioner has an Overnumbered card that shows off his Chaos & Fury combo. Spinning Axe (Signature Gear · Draven · Equipment): If Draven is your pick, be sure to pick up his Signature Spell. With abilities like Quick-Draw and Reaction, your unit will spin with power.

Irelia – Blade Dancer: With Chaos ruling strong in Spiritforged, Irelia (and Draven) benefit greatly from the new mechanics and equipment. For the cost of 1 Power, players can ready any unit if they can target it, allowing players to rank up points and retreat if necessary. Her signature spell, Defiant Dance, is another strategic win for this set. With her Champion Unit card, Irelia – Fervent, she gets stronger each time she is chosen or readied. Consider adding Guardian Angel and Boots of Swiftness to an Irelia deck.
