Izzy receives a mysterious game called Hex to work on, setting the adventure in motion. At school, she meets Julian, the cool sports girl, and gains a study partner in David. Each character introduction feels natural and well-paced. When Izzy and David finally get the Hex machine working, the illustrated light show adds real excitement and energy to the moment.
