Red is traveling through a world straight out of an old Western, but with a twist. Red is a curse chaser, and she has come to town on a mission. Red finds trouble and then eliminates it. She hunts monsters for pay. This gunslinger is one tough woman, and she knows magic. Her battle with a snake shows just how tough she can be.
Giant crows are Red’s next order of business. She is a hardworking, nonstop monster killer.
The story jumps back and forth in time, yet it is told so smoothly that the changes in time are barely noticeable.
Red fighting in an arena puts on a good show. This woman is tough and then some.
The full-page artwork focused on Red features gorgeous illustrations.
The Crows get a lot of buildup. People fear them, and when you see a Crow, you will understand why. It is a living nightmare. These Crows are so much more than they first appear to be. Red figures out how best to fight them, and fight them she does. Red keeps going. The battle is a thrilling fight between one tough woman and a supernatural menace of dangerous proportions.
Red, Hazel, and Peanut are starting off on the adventure of a lifetime, and also a nightmare.
“Just Another Tuesday” A Bison posts a bounty, and Red comes to collect. This battle ends quickly and not quite how Red hoped. It is a scary fight with a touch of humor.
“The Magician” This story makes little sense. What is the purpose of it? The art is hard to make out.
Red is a curse chaser, and at times the curse chases her. She is as tough as they come and has a caring heart. She is stubborn and never gives up. Seeing her in action, you will understand what it means to face evil head-on and know you’re going to win.
