This creature is the stuff of nightmares and will make readers think twice before looking into a mirror again. The artwork creates a creepy atmosphere filled with danger and suspense. Fortunately, Red has her companion Hazel to help her. Red is one tough lady in a fight, and the action scenes show just how hard she is willing to battle. She knows what she is doing and has the skills to back it up.
Red is offered a job taking on the Rapture Klan. She initially refuses, but it is pretty obvious that she will eventually accept the assignment. Meanwhile, Red and Hazel have an entertaining relationship. Hazel wants to be treated as an equal, while Red prefers to be in charge. The two have to find a middle ground, and their interactions add a nice touch of personality to the story.
Red is portrayed as a woman who hunts curses for a living. She is experienced, confident, and more than capable of getting the job done. She understands the dangers involved in her profession and does not hesitate when it is time to take action.
The artwork presents Red as a beautiful woman with a tough side that comes through in both her expressions and actions. Her magical abilities are displayed throughout the story, reminding readers that she has more than physical strength at her disposal. Her attitude makes it clear that she is not someone to be trifled with. Red is a formidable character, and the combination of supernatural horror, action, and her relationship with Hazel makes for an entertaining read.
