Comments: Mr. David Zimmerman is a photographer. His best friend is Harry Fauger, a painter. Now David meets a mysterious woman. After this meeting, things change for David. David must track down this woman, Rachel Bluem. This takes time as he slowly tries to find her. David does have a sense of urgency; it is just underplayed. David and Rachel, or someone else, are helping David try to fix the mess he is in. David’s character stays calm, even in the situation he finds himself in. David and Samia continue to try to solve their problems. The story does make sense, and you will find yourself following it as you wait for more pieces of the puzzle to fall into place. You are pulled in and will want to see how this all ends. The art is ordinary, which fits the way the story is being told. The people are ordinary; it is just that they are thrown into a situation they are trying so hard to cope with. David does work hard to solve a mystery. The ending is expected and not expected. It ends not how you might at first think it would, but how you, as you read this book, might come to expect it to. It does make you think. It also makes you feel both strange and happy.
