Comments: The fake Black Knight is rejected by Excalibur as Jack and Lancelot look on. So, what is up with the fake Black Knight’s hand? He does put up a good fight.
The art is elementary. Most panels have no backgrounds. Lots of the panels are just head shots.
Jack puts up a good fight and pushes himself hard to face the fake Black Knight.
Lancelot has some drama as he faces the reality of his King needing help.
The issue flies by as the story is short and the artwork sparse, you are not kept busy for long in this book.
The use of animals in the parts of people works nicely. For a younger reader comic this would be entertaining. For an adult, it would be way too short and not hold their interest long enough.
The sword Excalibur plays a big role throughout this series. It is a weapon of power. Excalibur does draw your attention and holds it. It is much more than just a sword.
