Comments: Mordred and Arthur are fighting when Mordred grabs Excalibur. The two brothers end up working together, attempting to make Excalibur function. Something completely unexpected happens, leaving everyone stunned.
There is an emotional scene between Arthur and Mordred. The two are brothers and friends, and they respect each other.
Arthur is written as a character of honor, and Mordred originally was as well. Mordred changes and becomes selfish. Showing the characters’ pasts was necessary so the reader could get to know them better.
There are only four characters in the comic, and two are barely used. The art is black and white and done in a simple style. The anthropomorphic characters are cute, but more character development would have been nice. The interactions move quickly, as the characters speak very little. This issue ends by leaving the reader with the question: What’s next?
