Comments: We get a nicely told recap, but then the story abruptly shifts as Sarah and Sven appear to be kidnapped by the Candelabra of the Six Spheres. The group consists of five gentlemen dressed in black tuxedos, top hats, and bow ties. On the surface, they do not appear menacing at all—but that only adds to the unease.

Elsewhere, two doctors are studying a very small ship, though they have no idea what it actually is. Meanwhile, the Lt. Colonel and his girlfriend, Dr. Cecily, share some light, pleasant interactions. They make a genuinely cute couple, offering a brief emotional anchor.

The origin of the Candelabra of the Six Spheres is then revealed. Supposedly, they exist to help save the planet from the Fungoidian aliens. While they present themselves as helpful and polite, it’s clear something is off. Their friendliness feels performative, and there’s an undercurrent of something quietly menacing beneath the surface.

Back at the lab, the horror aspect of the comic finally comes into focus, delivering some effective unease. Over at the Candelabra’s headquarters, we see that the original alien groundhog Bjorn, is still around, as well as Roberto and his family, who are strange in their own right. It becomes increasingly clear that the group has something sinister planned for Sven and Sarah.

The biggest issue is pacing and structure. The story jumps around too much and doesn’t give scenes enough time to breathe. There are too many unanswered questions introduced too quickly, making it difficult to fully engage with what’s happening before the narrative moves on.
