Comments: Kara is shown playing with Krypto, and they are adorable together, having fun and enjoying life. When Kara is given the chance to do the right thing, she may be slow to act, and she may be a little uncouth, but she always makes the right choice. She has a bit of an attitude, but it is presented in such a fun way that it becomes endearing.
Krypto and Supergirl share a bond built on unconditional love. At its heart, this movie is about that love and what Kara is willing to do for Krypto. The answer is simple: anything.
The aliens are amazing, with so many different species on display that the universe feels rich and alive.
Supergirl is riding a space bus when it comes under attack. You know what’s coming, yet the tension continues to build, making you want to cheer when she finally springs into action. The battle is an absolute blast to watch.
When Lobo appears, it is handled perfectly. His entrance is exactly what fans would hope for, and his attitude is spot on. He’s crude, unpredictable, and clearly someone you do not want to cross. From the moment he arrives, you know trouble has shown up.
We also get to see Kara growing up, sharing in both her joys and her sorrows. These moments show how her deep bond with Krypto first began.
Kara eventually comes face to face with the evil Krem, who pushes her to her limits in battle. Just when things seem darkest, help arrives as Lobo explodes onto the scene on his space bike. Watching these two fight together is something you have to see to believe. It’s an exciting battle, with each character bringing a unique fighting style that perfectly complements the other.
Kara has heart. It is easy to see that she and Krypto are more than companions—they are family.
Ruthye has plenty of spirit as Supergirl’s friend. Despite her young age, she proves she can hold her own and kick some serious butt.
When Supergirl returns fully suited up and ready for battle, she is an unstoppable force. Krem proves to be a dangerous opponent, but when Lobo joins the fight once again, the action becomes pure magic. As Lobo tears through the battlefield on his space bike, you can practically feel his joy as he leaves destruction and chaos in his wake.
The actress playing Supergirl is gorgeous, but her beauty is never the focus. Instead, Supergirl is defined by her love, her loyalty, and her willingness to fight for her family. She shows exactly what she’s made of. You definitely do not want to make Supergirl angry, because the destruction she unleashes is out of this world. At the same time, she never loses her compassion, reminding us that her greatest strength is her heart.
The ending is perfect and will leave you walking away with a smile.
