Comments: The art is beautifully rendered and filled in with soft lush colors. Deer Girl, Freya is simply illustrated with an interesting look. She has a cute yet a serious look that says she is mature beyond her years.
Something is killing the forest, upsetting the balance of nature. A demon roams the land.
As Freya follows the demon’s trail she meets a Wolf Boy, Skoll.
The way they talk it is as if in a narrative way. We see their thoughts even though the do talk to each other. The lettering a few times gets cut off so the page should have been lined up better.
The demon is a frightening beast.
The scenery of the forest has an surrealistic look which gives fuel to your imagination. It is wondrously portrayed.
There is an instance friendship that develops between Freya and Skoll. These two creatures of the forest will bring you into their magical world.
