A race is coming up for Speed. The C.A.T. team is gunning for him with Black Jaguar leading them. The Tiger Syndicate, with Dante Ferno leading the men, is out to get Speed at any cost.
Speed Racer starts the race with Racer X and Black Jaguar right beside him. He needs to win. These cars all come with specialized accessories. Speed is up against the best and meanest in Black Jaguar. There is a lot of hard competition going on here. Racer X and Speed Racer make a good team. Seeing them working together is a sight that will make you cheer. Black Jaguar makes his mo, ve and racers do not survive.
Speed is pushing himself, and he is doing great in this race, and just when you think you have it all going your way, then you don’t.
Adding in a driver villain like the Black Jaguar was just what was needed here. Black Jaguar is calm and cool and totally vicious.
The back cover of this book has one masterpiece pin-up of the Mach-5. The racing car, illustrated here, is speed and power in motion.
