Comments: Speed is out at Club Diesel, the C.A.T. Team’s hangout. A bar fight breaks out and is quickly shut down. Racer X is there, and he does make an impression.
Speed and Racer X end up in a race with high stakes. Things go from bad to worse for Speed. Racer X does have a heart as he and Speed Racer work together to save Speed’s younger brother.
Ace Deucey is a thief, and one Speed is handling.
Speed races for his family. Not for fame or money. Racer X does help out Speed here, and we learn more about this mysterious racer.
Speed is so full of hope and confidence. Having the Mach-6 is great, yet it is his heart that makes him such a great racer.
This issue does have some serious implications. There is also a hard and fast race between Speed and Racer X, which is too short. It was skill against instinct. These two have both. So watch them go!
